Council of Educational Support Professionals
Through the Wisconsin
Association of Educational Office Professionals (WAEOP), educational support staff members can
take advantage of networking opportunities, professional development programs,
support by peers, newsletters, and access to their own web page on the AWSA
website. Members will have the opportunity to have their questions answered by
educational leaders, as well as to develop valuable professional relationships
with other members to assist in their ongoing quest for professional growth.
Membership is open to all support staff members employed by a school district
in Wisconsin. The Council of Educational Support Professionals will be governed
by an advisory board composed of one representative from each of Wisconsin's
CESAs. This board will plan conferences, guide in selecting the editorial
content of newsletters and other publications, and serve as the voice for
educational support staff professionals across the State of Wisconsin. The
Council of Educational Support Professionals will be an affiliated organization
of the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators (AWSA).
Individual and institutional annual membership dues are $40 per person in
schools or school districts with 1-4 memberships; $35 per person for 5-9
memberships; $30 per person for ten or more memberships. Membership dues are
payable annually. The membership year is July 1-June 30. It is possible
to join the association partway through the school year on a prorated basis
(contact the AWSA office for the pro-rated amount). If you have any questions,
