Through the Wisconsin
School Resource Officers Association (WSROA), school resource professionals of various titles can take
advantage of networking opportunities, professional development programs,
support by peers, newsletters, and access to their own web page on the AWSA
website. Members will have the opportunity to discuss their questions and
problems with others in similar jobs, as well as develop valuable professional
relationships with other members to assist in their ongoing quest for
professional growth.
Membership is open to all school resource officers and similar staff members
employed by school districts, counties, cities, or other law enforcement
agencies in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin School Resource Officers Association will
be led by an advisory committee composed of member representatives from across
Wisconsin. This committee will plan conferences, guide in selecting the
editorial content of newsletters and other publications, and serve as the voice
of school resource officers across the State of Wisconsin. The Wisconsin School
Resource Officers Association is an affiliated organization of the
Association of Wisconsin School Administrators (AWSA) and the National
Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO).
