Managing to Lead: A One-Day Workshop for Principals and Administrative Assistants

Finding Time for What Matters Most — At Work and At Home
The demands of leading a school in today’s fast-paced environment require more than dedication — they require strong systems, intentional routines, and powerful partnerships. Managing to Lead is a hands-on workshop designed specifically for school principals and their administrative assistants to attend together. Why? Because the most effective leadership teams aren’t solo acts — they’re well-aligned, well-organized, and working in sync.

During this interactive, practical, and energizing day, you and your teammate will:
- Reflect on the design mismatch between 20th-century office routines and the realities of leading a 21st-century learning organization.
- Explore how outdated systems can limit your ability to lead well — and live well.
- Clarify shared goals for professional growth, personal well-being, and team alignment.
- Co-design sustainable systems for managing calendars, routines, and daily operations.
- Build a stronger partnership rooted in communication, trust, and shared purpose.
- Walk away with tools and strategies to reduce overwhelm, increase productivity, and focus on what matters most — both at school and at home.
This workshop has helped hundreds of leadership teams take significant leaps forward in their work and lives. Come with your teammate. Leave with a plan. Lead with greater impact.
