Public education is at the center of many of our country's most heated political conversations, and Wisconsin is no exception. As we prepare for what may be a stormy school year, two experts with deep connections to AWSA and who are retained to provide services to AWSA members will share their thoughts on what you can do to prepare for the school year and what you can do if you get caught in a political storm.  

Attorney Malina Piontek and school communications expert Joe Donovan, who will co-lead this session, will provide tips and tools to help you remain focused on serving students in hyper-partisan environments. They will also share the legal and communication they provide to AWSA members.
